For the seventh time in eleven seasons, the Formula E World Champion wears a Bell Racing helmet. The latest addition to this distinguished list is Oliver Rowland, the new world champion of the all-electric series, who secured the 2025 title at the Berlin E-Prix, with one weekend still remaining.
The British driver delivered an impressive campaign, starting with a victory in the second round of the season in Mexico City, followed by further wins in Jeddah, Monte-Carlo, and Tokyo. Rowland also showed remarkable consistency, earning three additional podium finishes and two more points-paying results, which allowed him to build a commanding lead in the standings. The title was sealed with a crucial fourth-place finish in Race 2 in Berlin.
“I’m very proud to win the World Championship – it’s going to take a while for it to sink in! I approached the race thinking about limiting the potential damage to my lead, but that strategy almost never works in Formula E. So in the end I trusted myself and focused on delivering the best possible performance, and it paid off”, commented Oliver.
Rowland is one of 16 drivers on the Season 11 grid – over 70% – equipped with the HP77 helmet from Bell Racing, which in 2025 has already contributed to 10 race wins, thanks also to 2024 champion Pascal Wehrlein, Maximilian Günther, Dan Ticktum, Stoffel Vandoorne, and Sébastien Buemi. Furthermore, in every race so far, at least one Bell-equipped driver has stood on the podium.
“I’ve been using Bell Racing helmets for over ten years now. It’s the most comfortable helmet I’ve ever worn – super lightweight, incredibly safe, and with excellent visibility through the visor. Bell Racing delivers everything you could ask for in a helmet, and their on-track maintenance service is another added value”, he told us.

Rowland now joins an elite group of Bell Racing Formula E champions, including Nelson Piquet Jr (2014–2015), Sébastien Buemi (2015–2016), Jean-Éric Vergne (2017-2018 and 2018-2019), Stoffel Vandoorne (2021–2022), and Pascal Wehrlein (2023-2024).
The 2025 season will conclude with the London E-Prix double-header, where Rowland will look to cap off his campaign in style on home soil. At the moment, Bell Racing drivers also occupy the entire top 3 in the overall standings, with Wehrlein in second and Taylor Barnard in third.
